Oxfordshire, working UK wide Websites and automation

A website worth sending people to.

Built from scratch for your business, not dropped into a template. Fast on a phone, readable by everybody, and checked page by page before a customer ever sees it. I build the automation behind it too.

01 The difference

The same business, rebuilt.

On the left is what ONI's customers see today. On the right is the rebuild. Same photographs, same brand, same red. Everything that changed is about whether somebody can actually order from it.

02 What I build

Two things properly, and four more I can do well.

01

Websites

A site built from scratch for your business, fast enough to feel instant and written so a buyer can act on it.

From £950. Most are £2,400.

  • Design done for your business, not adapted from a theme
  • Every page written, including the ones nobody enjoys writing
  • Built as plain files, so hosting is a few pounds a month and there is nothing to be hacked
  • Measured on a real phone before you get it: how fast it loads, whether the text is readable, whether it works without a mouse

02

Automation

Taking a repetitive job off your desk, and stopping it before it can do anything it cannot take back.

From £2,400 to build. £450 a month to run it.

  • A short audit first, so the quote describes your actual process
  • The workflow built, tested against your real cases including the awkward ones
  • A fixed check standing in front of anything it cannot take back: sending, paying, filing, replying
  • Spend capped and reserved before each call, so nothing can run up a bill unnoticed

04 Pricing

Published, fixed, and agreed before anything starts.

Most common

£2,400

Business site

A business with several services, more than one area, or anything a customer needs to read about before they ring.

Three to four weeks

See what is included

A UK agency quoting the same specification is usually £3,000 to £8,000, and in London more than that. Much of the difference is account managers, project managers and an office, none of which write a line of your website.

A freelancer at the bottom of the market will do it for £400. The difference there is everything that happens after the design looks finished: the audits, the writing, the legal pages, the handover, and somebody who will still answer in six months.

One page sites start at £950. Anything with bookings, a catalogue or a system to talk to starts at £4,800 and gets scoped properly first. Not VAT registered, so the price you see is the price you pay.

05 How it goes

Four stages, and you see it early.

  1. 01

    A call, then a number

Twenty minutes on what the business does and what the site has to achieve. You get a written scope and a fixed price. If what you need is not what I do, I say so then, not after your deposit.

  2. 02

You see it in week one

A real page you can open on your own phone and send to your partner, not a flat picture at the end. This is where changing your mind is free, so this is where we do it.

  3. 03

    Checked before you get it

How fast it loads, whether anybody can use it, whether every link works, whether the text is readable. You get the results, so you are not taking my word for it.

  4. 04

    Live, and yours

On your domain, in your account, in your name. Two rounds of changes once real people have used it. Nothing stops working if you never speak to me again.

06 Why you can check all of this

You should not have to take my word for any of it.

Before a site is handed over it gets put through the same set of checks every time. How heavy it is to load on a phone. Whether somebody using a keyboard or a screen reader can actually get round it. Whether any link is broken, any picture is missing its description, or any text is too faint against the colour behind it.

The results come with the site. That is the whole point of running them: so you can look, rather than trust. It is also why every number on this page is a measurement and not an adjective, and why the case studies say what is not proven about them.

Exactly what gets checked

07 Questions

The ones worth asking before you spend anything.

Why is this cheaper than an agency?

A UK agency quoting the same specification is usually £3,000 to £8,000, and in London more. A good part of that is account managers, project managers and an office. You are dealing with the person doing the work, so the overhead is not there to pay for. The honest counterpoint is that an agency has cover when somebody is ill and I do not, which is worth knowing before you choose.

What do you need from me?

Less than you think, and it is mostly at the start: what you do, who you want to hear from, any photographs you own, and your real details. I write the copy. If something is missing at build time it appears on the page as a visible marker rather than as filler, so it cannot go live unnoticed.

Who owns the site when it is done?

You do, including the code. It is on your domain and your hosting account, in your name. There is no platform you are locked into and nothing stops working if you stop paying me.

Can I edit it myself?

Not paragraph by paragraph in a browser, no. That is the trade for having no database, no plugins and nothing to be exploited. In practice most owners never used the editor they were given. Changes are sent to me and done within the week, or included if you are on the care plan.

How does payment work?

Half before work starts, half on handover. Fixed price agreed in writing first, so the number at the end is the number at the beginning. Not VAT registered, so the price you see is the price you pay.

What if I do not like it?

You see a real page in a browser early, not a flat picture at the end, which is where most of that risk actually lives. Changes during the review window are expected and included. If it is not right after that, we keep going until it is, within the scope that was agreed.

Do you do SEO?

The technical part, yes, and it is included: structure, metadata, structured data, speed, and pages that are actually about what somebody searched for. Not link building or monthly retainers. Those are a different business and mostly a worse one.

How do I know any of the numbers on this site are real?

Because they are produced by scripts rather than written by hand, and the same scripts are what you would be buying. The audits that measured this site are described on the process page, and every case study states plainly what is unproven about it.

Tell me what is not working.

Twenty minutes, no charge, and you leave with a straight answer about what it would take and what it would cost. If the answer is that you do not need me, that is the answer you get.
